History Killer Pro is a versatile software tool capable of analyzing and cleaning key areas of your system to remove sensitive data from it. Besides protecting your private information, it also helps you to keep a lighter system by recovering disk space. It performs a secure data deletion, so that nobody else can recover them later by any method. You can choose what to clean and what to keep untouched.

The program offers an intuitive and modern user interface with tab-based navigation. The most important tab is, for sure, the "Targets" tab, which allows you to select the areas you want the program to analyze. Those areas are then classified by categories, such as Windows system, Internet Explorer 8, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Windows accessories, and more. Inside every category you can select the specific items you want to have cleaned. For example, in the "Internet Explorer 8" category, you may select items such as temporary Internet files, history, cookies, address bar history, form auto-complete data, and others. Once you have chosen all your desired targets, you can proceed either to scan your system or to clean those targets right away using any of the two clearly identified buttons provided.

The second tab in importance is the "Settings" tab, which allows you to configure some of the program’s general parameters. In this section, you can schedule automatic system cleanings and create an exclusion list also. However, you have to add all the elements to be excluded from the cleaning manually, which might become a setback, especially for novice users.
